rebeccabarger876Congratulations Lizzie & Braxton, Best Wishes for a long life together and everyday smoothies!

Lizzie & Braxton’s story courtesy of Robeks Smoothie Shop: Forget Match.com or eHarmony. Throw out the popular TV shows the Bachelor or Bachelorette. If you’re looking for love head to your nearest Robeks smoothie shop!

That’s what Lizzie Charlick – a law student at California Western School of Law in San Diego and native of Flourtown, near the Chestnut Hill region of Philadelphia, did faithfully every morning just before class. Ordering her favorite Guava Lava smoothie at a Robeks shop near her apartment, she struck up a conversation with this cute looking, and in her own words “so friendly” guy behind the counter, Braxton Bray.

With each visit, a relationship started to blossom. Each morning, Lizzie would call in her order and Braxton was usually on the other end taking the call. Knowing which smoothie she liked, he didn’t even wait for her to place the order but finished her sentence with “I’ll get that Guava Lava going in the blender.” Just to make it interesting, occasionally she would switch her order to Acai Bowl.

After months of getting her daily dose of fresh fruits, juices and antioxidants at Robeks, Lizzie and Braxton finally went out on a date and according to Lizzie “we’ve never stopped hanging out.” The couple were married October 9 in Chestnut Hill, Pennsylvania, where Lizzie’s family still resides.  Robeks logos will be prominently displayed on wedding programs and the nuptials will be photographed by Rebecca Barger Photography. And yes, the bride and groom are going to serve their favorite smoothies – Guava Lava and Hummingbird – to their wedding guests.

According to Lizzie, “If it weren’t for Robeks, I would never have met my soul mate. Because of your establishment, we are now going to live happily ever after.” After the wedding, the Brays will return to San Diego to finish up school. Lizzie will be taking the California State Bar Exam and Braxton is working toward his degree as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.
